I would claim it to be rather realistic given all thats happened over the years.

A person would have to be an ignorant basket case to vote for anything but conservative.... less they prefer the likes of Obama to the south...
Which is all the more unlikely, especially now.

Besides, given that more and more people are getting access to the net they are no longer reliant on the MSM for their information and can figure things out for themselves.

It's quite the bonus that the "pendulum" is unlikely to ever again sway in favor of the left ever again.

Once realized the majority of people are naturally any sort of mix between libertarian and conservative. Which the opposition parties are nothing like to any degree.

Though I bet the Liberals are going to eventually try to poise themselves as such... that is, until they assume Bob Rae as their leader if thats still in the works.

Whoops! thought that was talking about federal politics.

Silly me.

Allow me to just about say almost the same thing but with less enthusiasm or conviction in regards to provincial politics.

Though I undoubtedly feel that anything less then eventual PC victory will lead to utter financial disaster from which we will never recover.

Though I remain in favor of an HST, I utterly disagree with the high rates in which it will be applied. It should remain as low as possible while as broad-based as it could be without the needless tangle ups of paperwork.

(and why the hell are vitamins going to be taxed while pharmaceutical drugs are exempt?!? Meanwhile, OHIP would only cover the synthetic version of progesterone rather than the less costly natural version... )

Ontario needs to cut program spending and taxes since it had been bringing in record tax revenues already.

They shouldn't of waited for the global recession to hit to finally lower taxes in the budget that followed... to little to late... we all need to throw those bums out.

I hope folks realize that London is about as red as Toronto.
Historically, federally & provincially they'd elect a pig if it was wearing a red tie.
The fact that there is a conservative MP for one of the ridings is remarkable.
Check out the MPP's list.
This poll may be signalling an upcoming change.
Your mileage may vary though.
