Be careful what you wish for...

As with most cultural revolutions that wish to start things over at “year zero,” the violence is aimed at America’s past in order to change its present and future.

The targets are not just the old majority culture but also classical statues and buildings, hallowed institutions, religious icons, the renowned names of streets and plazas, and almost every representation of tradition and authority.

For the majority of Americans who do not buy into the revolution, it all seems so surreal — and hypocritical.

A Scottish man has been convicted of a message that was grossly offensive, indecent or menacing. According to the Evening Express, the prosecutor cited the fact that Terry Myers, 41, called the Irish boyfriend of his ex-girlfriend, a “leprechaun.”

Prosecutor Susan Love declared that the mail was threatening but added that it was a racially aggravated offense due to the use of the word “leprechaun.”

He was found guilty and fined £280 ($350) for the offense.

Police arrested 27-year-old Samantha Shader, of Catskill, for allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail into a police van with officers inside. She was charged with attempted murder.

Approximately 250 people were arrested, six officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries and roughly a dozen police vehicles were damaged.

While Sunday’s demonstrations started peacefully, they once again took a violent turn for the fourth straight night. Throughout the weekend, cameras captured fires, vandalism and looting.

In New York City, to appear tough on the lockdowns, Mayor Bill de Blasio singled out the “Jewish community” for gathering outside for a funeral and had the police break up a session of 60 people at a Yeshiva school in Brooklyn.

But he has allowed riots, featuring thousands of people in close proximity, clashing violently with police, with only scattered use of masks.

Rioting, burning, looting... we've seen this before.
