Prince Charles finally off the hook...

Andrew, who is the second son of Queen Elizabeth, issued a lengthy statement saying he wanted to “clarify the facts” around his relationship with Epstein.
It gets better... by which I mean worse...
His statement comes after a former police officer Paul Page, who served in the Royal Protection Command from 1998 until 2004 claimed that Epstein's 'madam' Ghislaine Maxwell and several other women made several secret visits to Buckingham Palace to visit Prince Andrew.

These women wouldn't sign the Palace's gate book and royal protection officers would even drive them home, or face an angry Andrew who'd become 'abusive' if challenged.

Did Barack Obama tell a very public lie...

...or is Hillary Clinton truly out of luck...real criminal
“I can’t pardon somebody who hasn’t gone before a court and presented themselves, so that’s not something that I would comment on at this point,” Mr. Obama told the German newspaper.
As it turns out, Barack Hussein is lying. Perhaps he thought, "It's Germany, no one's gonna notice."
November 9, 2016 | 4:10pm The White House isn’t ruling out the possibility of Hillary Clinton receiving a last-minute pardon from President Obamaeven though she hasn’t been charged with a crime.
The sooner this guy is a full-time golfer... the better it is for America.

"His students' reaction is NOT about losing an election. It's because these people watch media, and the Clinton-controlled media spent the last four months working overtime to program everyone in the country that Trump is a soulless monster come to eat them and their families, roasting their babies on a spit while laughing, and so on."
Let 'em stew in their own juices.

UPDATE: Hope, change and... OMG!!!
On Oct. 4, the debt held by the public — not including Social Security and Medicare — had risen 89.3 percent since Mr. Obama took office, according to FactCheck.org, a nonprofit project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania.

“At that rate, the debt owed to the public will more than double during the Obama presidency,” FactCheck said in its quarterly statistical report on Mr. Obama’s tenure in office.

Mr. Obama said he won’t talk about long-term budget issues until Republicans agree to reopen the government and raise the debt limit without conditions.
Move over Greece.

Shelling and sniper fire by forces loyal to Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi killed 17 people in the western city of Misrata Sunday, while rocket and artillery attacks on the eastern town of Ajdabiya sent rebel fighters and civilians fleeing.

The city has been under government siege for the last seven weeks, leading to a growing humanitarian crisis. Hundreds of civilians are believed to have been killed by fighting and shelling there.

All that is necessary...

...for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing...
-- VIENNA -- Austrian government officials say they have identified at least two mass graves of Nazi victims on property used by the army.

The victims were concentration camp inmates and others, all killed by the SS to eliminate witnesses to Nazi atrocities shortly before Soviet troops arrived.

The graves were identified from wartime photos, made from US bombers, showing open graves and bodies.
A timely reminder.

It is what it is

If you're researching family history... bear in mind, it probably isn't gonna be all nobility and accomplishment.
-- Berlin (dpa) -- The success of a British television programme in which celebrities investigate their ancestry has prompted a German broadcaster to copy the concept, but what do the celebs say if their ancestors turn out to have been Nazis?
While researching my own family history, I discovered my great-grandmother had a thing for sailors and coal miners. It made her, in my eyes anyway, more interesting, more human.

You can choose to bury facts about your ancestors, or you can try to understand their choices.
So far, family history has yet to catch on as a mass pastime in Germany. Its upswing under the Nazis, when people had to prove non- Jewish pedigrees, has given genealogy a bad name in Germany, many practitioners admit.
Making stuff up... or burying all the nasty bits means you're only fooling yourself.

Just like in the big, bad real world.

Battle of Fromelles

A century later, a sad legacy...
Archaeologists believe they have found a mass grave of British and Australian troops killed in World War I.

They say there is "compelling" evidence that the bodies of up to 400 soldiers remain near the site of the Battle of Fromelles in northern France.

The discovery by Glasgow University's Centre for Battlefield Archaeology is the largest of its kind.
An interesting note...
Hitler, then aged 27, served as a corporal with the 6th Bavarian reserve regiment in the battle.

Dr Pollard said: "It makes you think how the course of history could have changed if one bullet had gone astray."
