Washington (CNN) -- The Obama administration has filed a request with the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to stay a lower court injunction stopping the military policy regarding openly gay troops serving.

Honestly, so much about what amounts to nothing. Gays always have, and always will serve in the military. Canada lifted its prohibition on gays in the service a long time ago now. Last time I checked with friends who are still in, the military is as good as it ever was.
