The Canadian Club of Toronto has scrapped Mayor David Miller’s farewell speech because of poor ticket sales.
The club sold only 19 tickets to the Oct. 13 luncheon at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, according to an internal e-mail confirming the cancellation.Looks like folks are more than ready for a new direction.
