Dave Spackman, candidate for regional and city council in Oshawa, actually wants to kill beavers. Though he wants you to know that he wouldn’t personally do the killing.

Well, at least its only "kill". I can't imagine a sign with another verb there getting past the moral censors.
So when's civic election day in Ontario? Civic elections are on the 18th here in Alberta.
