There oughta be a law...

...oh, man... there's just never a gun registry around when you need one...
Toronto Police responded to reports of gunshots on Firvalley Crt. in the Warden Ave.-Danforth Rd. area around 1 a.m.

The victim was discovered short distance away — in a small parking lot next to Cataraqui Crt. — dead in the driver’s seat. He has been identified as Isba Hassan Ismeil, 29, of Toronto.

“I heard three or four shots,” said Rashid, who did not want to give his last name. “All I heard was ‘pop, pop, pop.’ But ... gunshots in Cataraqui, that’s normal.”

“What can I say? Poverty brings problems,” he said. “In a couple of days, nobody’s going to give a shit. It’s normal here.”
Or, heck... even a knife registry...
A double stabbing in Markham has left one man dead and another in hospital.

York Regional Police were called late Saturday to the Century Palace restaurant on Ferrier St. —in the Warden-Steeles Aves. area — shortly before midnight.

The two men were taken to Scarborough Grace hospital where one man is reported to have died from injuries.

There was no word on the condition of the other stabbing victim.
Good ol' Hogtown... whatever else you might say... it ain't boring.
