Oh... my... gawd...

...those poor children... hey, wait a minute...

“They were obviously terrified to jump. They must have been incredibly terrified in that fall and I don’t think it should just be written off as ‘Oh well.’”
Way to go, Toronto Sun... let's not clog up anybody's brain bucket with, you know... actual news...
The written answers produced by the minister's own scientific advisers proved so woolly and full of elementary errors that Fielding's team have now published a 50-page, fully-referenced "Due Diligence" paper tearing them apart.

In light of the inadequacy of the Government's reply, the Senator has announced that he will be voting against the bill.

The wider significance of this episode is that it is the first time a Western government has allowed itself to be drawn into debating the science behind the global warming scare with expert scientists representing the "counter consensus" – and the "consensus" lost hands down.

I'm terrified that the Toronto Sun would send a reporter to cover a demonstration involving only six people and then give it space in its newspaper.
This is an example of how a handful of people can dictate to the rest of us who don't really give a rats ass.

Anybody get the meat?

Venison is great.

Plus, it would have been funny to watch the PETA twits meltdown at someone gutting a deer.

i sure hope none of these dumbsticks ever has occasion to drive through hastings county... it's a rare day indeed when you don't pass by a half dozen roadkills.

funny how these groups never seem to break a sweat when actual human lives are snuffed out.

Morons are newsworthy, sad.

This actually happened in London, Ontario and was covered by the free press, a Sun Media paper. The Sun didn't even put where it happened after they did a cut and paste. The people involved in this are well know animal"advocates" in London and never met an animal that they would like to see take the place of a person.
The incident itself, which happened a week ago, could have been avoided if the people involved showed a little patience. They were honking at the doe and fawn like they were dogs. I saw the deer about an hour after the splat. They never knew what hit them. The ground. They were DOA.
As far as the venison.....one hour later they were pretty well fly covered and blotted. I agree it is a shame to waste venison like that but my freezer is already full of bambi, his mother and his uncle. ;)

a much more interesting story is the three cougars that were shot & killed in princeton, british columbia... after stalking children at a local campground.

no one is advocating torturing and killing animals here... but let's face it... life in the wild is often nasty, short and brutish.

this article didn't deserve to push, say... human on human atrocities off the newspaper pages.
