Hope, change and...

..."holy shit... how did that happen?"

-- WASHINGTON -- The White House is being forced to acknowledge the wide gap between its once-upbeat predictions about the economy and today's bleak landscape.

The release of the update — usually scheduled for mid-July — has been put off until the middle of next month, giving rise to speculation the White House is delaying the bad news at least until Congress leaves town on its August 7 summer recess.

LAST WORD: Mission, er... Not Accomplished...
Officials with the Obama administration say they will miss a self-imposed deadline for completing a detailed plan on dealing with terrorist suspects detained at a military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The officials said the deadline for the report by a Justice Department-led task force, set for Tuesday, has been extended for another six months.

The bloom is coming off the rose and by the time the one year anniversary comes along American citizens despite the bull shit being given by the press will have had plenty of the "charismatic" black leader who has plunged them into untold deficits. I predict Obama will not win the White House in 012 if the Repubs can put up a credible candidate.

Hey Nonny-mouse (and Neo),

According to Rasmussen polls released today, Obama is tied in a hypothetical race against Mitt Romney in 2012 (at 45% even) - and if he lasts until 2018 (possible), he leads Sarah Palin by 8 points (48 to 40%).

Cue Bobby Pee-Jay Day in 3, 2, ....
