Live and don't learn... and die

Help me out here... we spend hundreds of millions of dollars to beef up airline security after 9/11... and then everybody just looks the other way...

pavilions at folkfest

A report from the QMI news agency suggests the video filmed at Trudeau is evidence of a broader-reaching security gap that, partially due to concerns over political correctness, has repeatedly allowed individuals clad in the Muslim niqab to board planes unchecked.
"Partially due"... seriously?

Apparently "suckass political correctness" is even affecting reporting on this thing.

RELATED: Hmmm... timing is everything
Two men were convicted Monday of plotting to blow up jet fuel tanks at John F. Kennedy International Airport, a terror plot that authorities said was meant to outdo the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and avenge perceived U.S. oppression of Muslims around the world.
Good grief... maybe we are too stupid to live.

**********

LAST WORD:
Why bother asking a Muslim?

No need for that, when you can get the straight skinny from Liberal public safety critic Mark "the Mouth" Holland...
"All Canadian Muslims would agree that showing your face for security is essential."
The Liberal Party of Canada... they'll do the talking for you... and you... and you...

Yup... no problem here, folks... nothing to see... move along now.

The whole hullabaloo over security was simply a way for the politicians to lull the public into a false sense of security while, at the same time, gaining more control over people's lives. If this were not so, then the people who are the front lines of this security scam would not be the lowest paid and most poorly trained.

i've just gotta say... i'm sittin' here hoping this is some sort of scam video... that we aren't actually that stupid... as to let something like this happen.

because if this story is legit... we are simply too stupid to live.

update: apparently, we're that stupid...

Air Canada told QMI Agency that the primary responsibility for airline security lies with the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority. Spokesman Peter Fitzpatrick also told QMI Agency that the airline follows Transport Canada regulations for identifying passengers and that there is a special area available to verify passengers in private.

However, frontline airline workers tell QMI Agency that rarely happens. On Sunday, the French language TV network TVA visited Montreal’s Trudeau airport and heard first-hand from airline staff what really goes down.

Asking not to be identified for fear of losing their jobs, the workers say that passengers who refuse to lift their veils are simply allowed to board.

there's something to think about... the next time you're standing in line, waiting to board your flight.

Simple solution: let's all get niqabs to wear while flying, especially when going with a group. One unveiled male carrying a whole batch of passports, and 20 or so veiled persons - should make life interesting.

I would give some serious thought to getting on a flight with a bunch of heavily veiled people who didn't have to submit to any kind of security before boarding. I guess that makes me a racist.

The MP who learned everything from reading "Macleans" in the 90's and wins the "Mark Wahlberg look-a-like" contest says "All Canadian Muslims would agree that showing your face for security is essential."

I'm thinking the Canadian Arab Federation and Mo Elmasry's Canadian Islamic Congress will straighten him out in 3, 2, ....

And yeah, I stand with Salim Mansur and Tariq Fatah: Ban the niqab and chador in Canada! "Lan astaslem!" - "I will not submit!"
