How about we spend the next...

...2 billion taxpayer dollars... chasing after the urban thugs who are actually pulling the triggers?...

Are Canadians who live in rural areas and small towns second-class citizens? That's the question we should ask our MPs as they gear up for yet another effort to kill the long-gun registry.

Will they do the right thing and abolish it?

Here's what it boils down to: Will big-city folk, the vast majority of whom do not use guns and don't understand their use, continue to impose their will on farmers and small landowners?

Or will the 308 members of the House of Commons show rural people some respect?

92% of Canadian cops want registry scrapped

Would be nice if we at least get some honesty from, of all people, police chiefs, ya think?

Springer... you won't get honesty out of police chiefs (other than Calgary "s Rick Hanson)because once a cop gets that high in management they have to become politicians to obtain their budget funding.

You live in a fantasy world. 81% of Canadians live in cities. The vast majority of rural dwellers live in smaller towns and villages. The % of Canadians who actually need guns to live is so small it's beyond laughable.

Corporate farming has long ago killed the old model. The only guys shooting off their mouths are fools like you and the only place you EVER fire a gun is in an artificial setting like a gun club. Don't get all woodsy because you bought a few arces near Belleville. Belleville for chirstsakes! Hardly the back woods.

Here's a suggestion. Try video games to satisfy your faux bloodlust. City boys like you don't know the first thing about killing stuff for real.

Your percentage of relevance is laughable.

On the other hand your absolute dumb fuck ignorance is sad so I guess it's a wash.

syncrooooooooo....that's nearly as bad ass as neo. great nickname! you make that up yourself? here's a tip, giving yourself a nickname is pretty lame but i think you know that.

the stats are the stats. why should urban canada allow faux farmers (guys who buy a chunk of land cheaply on the backs of broken family farms) to own guns they don't actually use in any meaningful way without registering them first? the fact is, useless tits like neo and yourself are exactly the kinds of fairies gun thieves hit first. you can shoot targets and skeets til the cows come home but you'd shit your drawers if you ever had to kill a rabid cat let alone a violent intruder whose ready to kick your shitless white ass.

syncro? you take your advice from a guy who talks gun tough but doesn't have enough balls to blog under his actual name? tell you what syncro, you're as much of a simp as your buddy neo.

and yes, i will post this righteous comment under the "anonymous" option. however, i'll tell you my name the second you tell me yours. coward.

"another anonymous troll returns to shriek... The % of Canadians who actually need guns to live is so small it's beyond laughable.."

oh, nonny... i must have really hurt your feelings for you to devote this much time and energy to your never-ending trollery.

why don't you just tell me what i did to you... and ask for an apology... and we'll see where that goes.

all this "neos a fat, bald wanker" stuff is just so childish & boring.

i mean... i'm obviously way more important to you... than you are to me.

c'mon, get it off your chest.

the thing is... we've had this conversation dozens of times before, haven't we? but you keep on coming back... under your various personalities.

as for your comment, nonny... i always leave up the ones where you do the work for me.

see, gomer... the issue isn't firearms... it's about rights & responsibilities.

so nonny... back to your point... you just take a tour through your home and get rid of anything "you don't actually need" to live.

you can report back after you've done that.

and i believe you owe lloyd a name.

If the company in charge of the computer system for the registry, and running and maintaining it quit donating 100,000 to police associations would that change the chiefs minds.
Cancel their contract and see what happens.
Hand guns and others small arms have been banned for many years, but seems they still find their way into the hands of murderers in the big cities.

"maryt says... they still find their way into the hands of murderers in the big cities"

well, i guess if you can't do anything about actual criminals... you gotta look for a slower-moving target.
