Cpl. Brian Pinksen, a member of 2nd Battalion, Royal Newfoundland Regiment, based in Corner Brook, Nfld., was wounded by an IED while on patrol in the Panjwaii district of Kandahar on Aug. 22.He will be remembered.
Cpl. Pinksen was treated and flown to a military hospital in Germany, where he died earlier Monday from his wounds.
