Okay... everybody just settle down

This is merely a "safety break"... nobody works... nobody gets hurt.
-- Pikangikum First Nation -- The crowd followed the police to their residence trailer, where two off-duty constables were asleep. Over shouts of “Burn it with them inside!

“Police then walked approximately two kilometres to the airport carrying their personal belongings and being followed by approximately 200 people, vehicles and [a] front-end loader.”

Unbelievably, this isn’t the first time the Pikangikum band has sent the entire detachment into exile, but rather the second time in little more than a year.
Lemme see if I'm understanding the dynamic here... Oka, Caledonia, Deseronto, Pikangikum (just to name a few)... and we, the Canadian taxpayer, are handing over 12 billion dollars per year... to finance a war... on ourselves?

RELATED: Hmmm, Pikangikum, Pikangikum...

...that sounds so familiar...
Indian Affairs Minister Jim Prentice announced in April that his department would spend $18.2 million to build a new school.

The project falls under a $40-million allocation to address infrastructure problems in the remote community of 2,000 people.
Something tells me no amount of money is gonna fix this one.

LAST WORD: Here we go again
-- OKA, Que. -- A land developer looking to build luxury homes on a tract of land in Oka, Que., required a police escort out of town Friday morning after masked Mohawk warriors and other community members confronted him.
Great... the victim gets run out of town... and the perps get off scot-free.

Try that kinda shit with your non-aboriginal buddies... and see how quickly the tasers & tear gas come out.

Oh Canada.
