What he said is probably true, just not in the way he meant. Al Qaeda is so incompetent (luckily) that they mostly kill fellow muslims. So yeah, the US probably has eliminated more terrorists than Al Qaeda has managed to kill American soldiers and civilians

the thing is, i'm just not sure that... "well, he's a bigger killer than me" is gonna do anything to calm down the "ground zero mosque" furor.

The head honchos of AP has issued a directive that the ground zero mosque can no longer be referred to as Ground Zero Mosque. Lots of negativity re building this thing, but like Beck, I question why would it be ok to build the mosque somewhere else. Same people, same unidentified money, same uses for training future plotters. If one is against it at ground zero, they should be against it being built anywhere.
