as per the mark steyn case... the "kangaroo kourt" had to back down when they came up against a determined opponent.
it's one thing to go up against dumbass teenagers shouting nonsense at some even dumber public gathering... it's another entirely to persecute a determined opponent who is prepared to stand on a principle.
