Nasty arch-conservative...

In other anticipated election news... unapologetic super-socialist... parachutes into distant riding and pulls rank on resident candidate...
Stuart Hertzog lodged a complaint Thursday with Elections Canada claiming a possible illegal transfer of funds to May's campaign by the party and unfair access to party resources, such as membership lists.*
In a letter to Elections Canada posted on his website, Hertzog claims the party transferred $62,000 into the Saanich-Gulf Island's electoral district association's accounts on two conditions — that it selects May as its nominee and that her campaign manager, John Fryer, have complete control of the money.

Iggy's lost in the wilderness stump speech?...if you look real close to the left of Iggy you can briefly catch a glimpse of the Sasquatch dude creeping around...oh, sorry, that's Kinsella.
"Once he understands that he's got the wrong end of the stick on this, he'll be quite satisfied."
What a rude woman. The above statement can be interpreted thusly : What a dummy you are, don’t you know we’re playing hockey, not ringette.
She knows she won’t win any seat, anywhere. This whole exercise is to create a sellable narrative and legitimacy that she and her media enablers can peddle to Canadians if she gets appointed to the Senate by her Liberal confederates. I can hear it now, as it’s spewed out of some CBC mouthpiece “she has won votes from Canadians, coast to coast and points in between, and now she represent those views in Ottawa.”
Just imagine having to pay for and put up with her hectoring rudeness and her vile scolding until she turns 75! It’s enough to make you want to gag.
Normally, a leader running in a riding would have the enthusiastic support of the locals. Not Ellie May, her inter-personal skills being non-existent. The locals can see that she is simply a Liberal wolf in green sheep clothing, and will bolt to the Liberals at the first opportunity, or be appointed to the Senate by them.
PM Harper should resist all arguments for including May in the next leaders debate, as she is simply a member of the Liberal farm team.

"martin says... she is simply a member of the Liberal farm team"
well put.
it sounds as though iggy and lizzie realise this is their last shot at the big show... and they're gonna pull out all the stops.
lizzie could almost taste that senate bribe, er... seat... the "coalition of weasels" promised her back in the day. she doesn't get in this time... she'll have to go beg maude barlow for a secretarial slot.
