Mr. Ignatieff is looking more and more like Mr. Dion, without the accent.

I think Dion is probably a nice guy just a large bit naive on most things.
Iggy is the definition of narcissist.
Inside Harper's evil mind are thoughts of needed reforms ie: Senate reform, that you know he'd be all over if he had a chance.
Inside Iggy's mind is the construction of a massively expensive fast train to move people from one end of the country to the other - because as we all know if you have to get somewhere quick a train is way faster than a plane. (a fast rail train would be effective in the southern ontario corridor and that is about it).
Also inside Iffy's mind was the GreenShaft.
He campaigned on it as his #1 Lib leadership campaign policy, and Dion rejected it.
Then thru master manipulation, Iffy convinced Dion it was the road to victory.
Dion ran with Iffy's GreenShaft....the rest is history.
That same master manipulation propelled Iffy into the Lib leadership role, without an election.
So if Iffy's next 'big idea' for the election is from the same brain that spawned the GreenShaft...we have nothing to worry about.

i suspect langmann has this right... dion was a well-intentioned naif... iggy really believes he is destined for greater things.
funny how the liberal party had to cast its net beyond canadian borders to come up with an untainted leadership candidate.
well... if iggy wants to force an election... i say there's no time like the present.
