"The funny part was I didn't have any clothes on," said Thompson, a World War II veteran who was awarded a Purple Heart during combat tours in Europe. "I was standing out there with a .38 in my hand, and I was stark naked."
"I fired a warning shot," he said, and the burglar froze. "I wasn't going to let the guy get within six or eight feet of me. He spoke only Spanish, and I couldn't understand anything he was saying. I think he was more scared than I was, really."

actually i do.
i have nothing against immigrants... i'm a first generation canadian, born to parents from the uk. i think canada and america with all their faults, are still two of the greatest countries in the world.
and people naturally want to come live here.
without immigration, given the canadian birthrate these days... cpp and the healthcare system will eventually collapse. and the united states has a long history of accepting people from around the world.
perhaps you meant criminals are the curse of the real citizen. that, at least, makes some sort of sense.

First of all, did you ever stop to think how traumatised that poor fellow might be by having a naked 91 year old man wave his gun in his face? Huh? Didja? Secondly, the way you're carrying on you'd think this poor thief was personally responsible for his actions when any intelligent, thoughtful and progressive thinking person knows that society is to blame so they are the ones who should go to jail. Furthermore, you've conveniently forgotten that the vet fought to defend this robber's right to break into the vet's home, steal him blind, then fuck his dog and shoot his wife.
The world would be a much kinder, gentler and better place if we rounded up every one of you intolerant con S.O.Bs, tortured you, then staked you out over an anthill to die.
