Sure thing, Iggy...

...let's all pretend this isn't a meaningless gesture that would have pissed off most of the electorate... and got your aristocratic carcass tossed under the bus...

Following today's vote, Michael Ignatieff said it felt good to vote no-confidence in the Conservative government for the first time as Leader of the Opposition.
The real question is... what would you have done without the socialist/separatist safety valve?

In other Coalition news... Iggy and Jacko have apparently locked themselves in a tiny room... and are frantically splashing gasoline all over each other.

I'm convinced that those three idiots get together and decide whose turn it is to "side" with the CPC and then make up some bullshit excuse that the MSM devours, hook, line and sinker. There's no way any of them can afford to force an election. I'd like to see Harper call their bluff and call an election on his terms. Then listen to them squeal,

I wonder how Iggy is going to explain to the voters how he 'voted against' the reno credit.....AND voted against the very thing EI that he supposedly 'forced' the Tories to hold meetings about over the summer.

Yep, Iggy....I bet it FEELS real good!

What a doofus.

i suppose he feels like he pulled something off here... because he didn't have to make a bunch of mp's absent themselves from the house... to ensure his non-confidence motion didn't succeed.

yup... "i failed miserably... and it feels good".

and the msm eats it up.

Once again , poor old Ignegative pulls the wool over his own eyes . How in the hell can anybody in their right mind actually justify voting for this clown ? I can understand party loyalty up to a point , but there is no point .

While the media insists on "riding shotgun" on the garbage truck, reporting on the trash talk spewed by the failed NDP/BLOC/LIBERAL Coalition, might it be worth mentioning that Canadian voters have made it very clear that they don't feel comfortable handing the keys to their country over to the Liberal Graduate of the "Barney Fife School of Pain"? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBuPQgV8yBM

With the NDP at 12 percent in the polls and the Bloc desperately afraid that a Conservative majority would see the end of their $1.95 per vote, there is going to be no vote of confidence that goes the wrong way. It is amusing to see the Liberals spending their war chest to fight an election that isn't coming. Just maybe they'll be broke again when the real election occurs.

Alberta Girl;

The CPC should definitely start an ad campaign right now focusing on that very thing.

"He tried to take away your renovation tax credit. He even tried to take away the very EI reforms that he demanded in the first place. He simply cannot be trusted."

And he's been Leader of the Opposition since...when?

I don't know whether to vomit or cry that this passes for leadership in the Liberal party these days. I mean, I have no use for Chretien or Trudeau, but can you imagine either of them making such a statement? Bragging about running away?

At least Warren "I only pick fights I can win" Kinsella is in good company.
