That's odd, the terrorists don't usually...

...give you advance warning like this... but let's take them at their word and start bringing up reinforcements...

-- AKWESASNE, Ont. -- Mohawk Warriors from the Akwesasne reserve near Cornwall, Ont. say they will storm a Canada Border Services Agency post on Monday and shut down the international border crossing unless their political leaders receive a commitment from the federal government not to arm border guards at the post, which stands on reserve territory.

“We are going to clear them out,” said Thomas Stacy, a middle-aged former professional wrestler who stood across from the border post with a small group of young men carrying large Mohawk Warrior flags on Saturday.

After Monday, he said, it will be “in the hands of the community.”
Of course... it's all about community.

The more the special interest "protesters" get away with the more they will be emboldened. Will some politician at some level of government finally enforce the law this time. I doubt it.

What's the matter? Is there an illegal smuggling operation the Mohawks are worried about? If our government doesn't stand up to these meatheads, we're done.

Might be time to outfit the CSBA post with some C7's.

What are the implications of the second news item, Neo?

These international court cases make me nervous. I don't think foreign courts should have jurisdiction over the citizens of another country. For example, didn't a Saudi sue an American author in a British court? And doesn't Jordan want the right to put Geert Wilders on trial?

Will Canadian taxpayers have to cover the cost of the court cases and enforcement? Who will define "terrorism"?

Will there suddenly be a gazillion Perpetual Palestinians using Canadian taxpayer-funded courts to sue Israel?

well, jo... i assume, perhaps naively, this only applies to canadian citizens who have been harmed on canadian soil.

the little worms from paliwood would still have to find another way to pull their scams.

i would hope the mohawk warrior society, before they start another round of domestic terror... sits up and takes notice.

I hope you're right on both counts, Neo.
