...shades of Nancy Pelosi...
-- WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama is seeking to block the immediate release of hundreds of new photos showing U.S. personnel allegedly abusing prisoners in Iraq and Afghanistan.**********
An administration official said today that the president told his legal advisers last week that releasing the photos would endanger U.S. troops.
Obama wants the issue to go back to court, although federal appeals judges have ruled the photos be released.

...and apparently Dems are okay with that.
The biggest news story on the issue now is whether House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, knew about the tactics and approved using them.Yes, America... wake up and behold the kinder, gentler Democratic regime.
Mrs. Pelosi says she learned about the tactics in 2002 but understood they would be used in the future.

This is one of the few times where I agree with the president 100%.
Releasing these pictures wouldn't do any good to anybody. Our soldiers would be punished as people throughout the Middle East would be enraged.
I feel that the president made the right choice.

ryan... you're totally missing the point here.
during the presidential campaign, obama and the msm made a huge deal out of the "oiljesus bushhitler" regime being less than forthcoming in exactly this way.
now saint barack gets to do the same thing without taking any heat?
and it isn't just this one instance, he's setting new standards in hypocrisy weekly.
funny how that works, huh?
oh, that's right... he's "the one".
