In his report to the Toronto Police Services Board, Chief Bill Blair said none of the 329 people had any lasting injuries from use of the "conducted energy weapons."That's funny... those 20 deaths? Sun reporter Ian Robertson fails to mention what period of time is involved here... or the fact that this number is also country-wide.
Police are criticized for using the devices, but although linked to 20 people's deaths in Canada, coroners concluded all had other medical conditions.
So Ian... five years... ten tears? C'mon pal, pony up.
Journalists... our moral & intellectual superiors.

well... snow is a peripheral issue... the post is making a point about relative mortality rates.
the fact is, 300 times more people are killed annually... working on the family farm... than die from being tasered.
10,000 Canadians die every year from infections they catch after checking into hospitals.
and don't get me started on drunk drivers.
so, my leftbot pals... maybe you could tone it down a little... about the 4 freakin' people who bring a tasering down on their own persons.
