Obama Whitehouse strangely silent...

...on "pushing Israel into the sea"...

Mr Obama's message was released to coincide with the festival of Nowruz, when Iranians mark the arrival of spring.

In it, President Obama said he wanted "to speak directly to the people and leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The United States wants the Islamic Republic of Iran to take its rightful place in the community of nations."
And Iran, as usual, was quick to respond...
Ayatollah Khamenei said world powers had been convinced they could do nothing to halt the progress Iran was making on its nuclear programme.
Yeah... good luck with that, genius.

New Whitehouse policy... "Hire the handicapped... they're fun to watch."
-- ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Special Olympics Michigan president said Friday she'd welcome the opportunity to send the nonprofit's top bowler to the White House.

Kolan McConiughey, who is cognitively impaired, has bowled five perfect games since 2005, said Special Olympics Michigan President Lois Arnold.

Obama's remarks regarding Special Olympics don't really offend me that much however it is really no different from saying something like, "cheap as a jew" or "dark as a coon" and something people shouldn't be saying on national TV as it is offensive. We all make mistakes.

However look at how the media plays this out, they find someone supportive and write this:

"Ms. Pardy said she saw Mr. Obama's comment on TV Friday morning and wasn't offended.

“Everybody has missteps. I don't think it was a slam against the Special Olympics.”"

Now if GW had said something like this (I cannot recall him ever saying anything racist or offensive to minorities or special groups) then the media would have found someone to say:

"I am deeply offended by GW Bush's remarks. It demonstrates a lack of understanding of [interest group]'s issues and struggles. He should be ashamed."

What media bias?

"langmann says... Now if GW had said something like this"

which is exactly the point.

eight long years of the leftosphere and the msm slammin' "oiljesus bushhitler"... but apparently "the one" can do no wrong.

gotta love the sanctimonious hypocrisy.

Obama will have to get on his knees and beg the Ayatollah's forgiveness for being American, or at least representing Americans.

A sensitive, nuanced foreign policy position of prostration before and under the feet of savages can prove to the world that 'The One' is wise.

wait'll iran tries to bolt that first nuke together... and israel starts turnin' persian weapons labs and military bases into huge smokin' sinkholes.

then we'll really see what "the one" is made of.
