Too many victims...

Not enough chiefs...

This might explain the soft ride the Deseronto native occupation has been getting.

-- BELLEVILLE, Ont. (CP) Canada - Thursday, April 19, 2007 Updated @ 3:04:52 PM --

The chief of the Tyendinaga Mohawk Police Service in eastern Ontario has been suspended over allegations he made of police racism.

Larry Hay reportedly told a college newspaper on the weekend that the RCMP is a racist organization, and that the Ontario provincial police service is no different.

The Loyalist College newspaper, The Pioneer, quotes Hay as saying the racism is “deep-seated” but the RCMP “will do all kinds of things to show that it isn’t so.”
Unbelievably...
"Hay was a Mountie for 20 years."
Not a word online in the Belleville papers.

Thanks to Mike at Rideau Reflections for the email alert.

I'm a racist, he's a racist, wouldn't you like to be a racist, too !

That word has lost a bit of it's punch, wouldn't you agree ??

you would think so.

the professional victimhood community would no doubt disagree.

Fortunately, what the OPP says or does doesn't matter.

Hay was honest, truthful, ansd spoke from his own personal knowledge.

OPP do have a long history of escalating aboriginal situations so they can justify a full scale attack.

That is their MO. It stunk at Caledonia and Ipperwash, and it stinks here too!

They don't learn fast!

well, lemme see, hay worked for the rcmp for 20 years and now, as tyendinaga chief, works for the opp... he's a bit of a hypocrite for working for the man all this time and perpetuating their racist rule, dontcha think?

people might say that it's chief hay who doesn't learn very quickly

as for the opp being tough on aboriginals... any non native, especially residents of caledonia, would be rolling on the floor laughing at that sentiment.

funny how you mention caledonia and ipperwash, but not a peep about oka.

well saga... always nice to get the native point of view, but why don't you set up a blog instead of just using the profile to sow comments around the blogosphere.

let's really hear your voice.
