Bloc Talk
“I think the Liberals and the NDP are going to have a lot of explaining to do about why they want to be a coalition partner with a party that thinks things like the national parks are a federalist plot,” Mr. Harper said. And, hey... while we're on bizarre... the compassionate, intellectual left replies... in the comments...
“I think it’s just bizarre.”
"is that what you tell you(sic) friends in the dark in high park neo?? AH HAHA AH AHA HA AH AHHA HA"He even supplied his own laugh-track.
Good gawd.

Sometimes these election ads just write themselves.
I have a few ideas about ads defending the CF-35 contract floating in my head, but I don't think they're relevant to anyone who doesn't have ties to Eastern Europe.
Oh boy. There will be a lot of people camping out in the 'land of federalist plots' this long weekend.

poor iggy... first, the dippers disappoint him on the "farmer bob rifle registry"... and now the bloc-heads are having a nervous breakdown.
no coalition for you, my friend.

Let's keep up the coalition talk and laughter.
didn't Harper sign a letter looking to do a coalition with the bloc when he wanted to take out the liberals?
Just puts all this stupidity into perspective doesn't it.
Anonymous, no he didn't.
A one-HOC-vote alliance to bring down the Liberals vs. a 13-month-long agreement to share power.
Yup, same thing. /sarc
Oh dear.
You have to lie about it.
September 9th., 2004 a letter to then Adrienne Clarkson, ring any bells? I bet not.
Oh alright, here's tip...
clicky to some sad news
In case you can't bring yourself to click the link, I paste the letter in full...
" September 9, 2004
Her Excellency the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson,
C.C., C.M.M., C.O.M., C.D.
Governor General
Rideau Hall
1 Sussex Drive
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0A1
Excellency,
As leaders of the opposition parties, we are well aware that, given the Liberal minority government, you could be asked by the Prime Minister
to dissolve the 38th Parliament at any time should the House of Commons fail to support some part of the government's program.
We respectfully point out that the opposition parties, who together constitute a majority in the House, have been in close consultation. We
believe that, should a request for dissolution arise this should give you cause, as constitutional practice has determined, to consult the
opposition leaders and consider all of your options before exercising your constitutional authority.
Your attention to this matter is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Hon. Stephen Harper, P.C., M.P.
Leader of the Opposition
Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada"
zing!!!
jwkozak91 you doth protesteth too much.
The fact is, Harper was willing to get into bed with the separatists just as fast as Dion was. Now we may disagree on politic, but don't pretend either party wouldn't do what it had to do to regain power. Both of them would in a heartbeat, and nitpicking irrelevant differences is for fools.
Re read the letter and pay attention. The letter said that should the PM call an election there was an alternative.
The coup was an attempt to overthrow an elected government, big difference.
How sure of himself is iggy that the coalition would agree to him being the PM. One good thing about it would be that not one of them could ask any questions in question period. They would have to answer them. And think of the inquiries we could start, adscam, rent scam, nanny scam. I don't think the ndp/bloc/libs have throught thru what a coalition would be. Lots of libs, waiting to get back at the trough would be sidelined to make room for bloc/dippers. What blackmail would those two demand for their support. All of them sitting together, what a sight. Front row, iggy, jack, giles. And think of cabinet being allotted 1/3, lib, 1/3 ndp and 1/3 bloc.
Start making your choices for the various positions.

folks... this is the second thread nonny has tried to hijack today.
he doesn't want to discuss... he simply wants you to react.

i must have really hurt your feelings for you to devote this much time and energy to your never-ending trollery.
why don't you just tell me what i did to you... and ask for an apology... and we'll see where that goes.
all this "neos a fat, bald wanker" stuff is just so childish & boring.
i mean... i'm obviously way more important to you... than you are to me.
c'mon, get it off your chest.

"nonny shrieks... is that what you tell you(sic) friends in the dark in high park neo??"
ah, yes... the mask slips.
the ultimate insult from the compassionate, intellectual left... calling someone a fag.
you crack me up, libby.
*
I'm sorry neo but I don't call people who do those things in parks "fags".
But you just did.
Brilliant. You're far, far too easy neo.
Go ahead and delete this, as long as you read it.
*
"nonny splutters... I don't call people who do those things in parks 'fags'."
"those things", nonny?
hey sweetie... keep diggin'.
*
*
okay, nonny... i get it... that's why you can't stay away... you've got some kind of hopeless man-crush on me.
unfortunately, it sounds as though you've still got some major self-loathing issues churning away under the surface too.
obsession... it's a bitch, huh?

oh, nonny... now you're gonna have to say good-bye a 3rd time.
you've got it bad, huh?
