Liberal Party of Canada rolls out the...

...well... you know...
politics as usualLooks like the S.S. Socialist Coalition just got holed below the waterline.

**********

FROM THE COMMENTS:

The rural MP in my riding decided to change his mind. Like one person said in the comments section over there, "Congratulations Glenn; you just became a one term MP".

The Socialist Coalition is more reslient that that; more akin to the U.S.S. Yorktown rather than the S.S. Titanic - she ain't goin' no wheres. They got "holed" alright, but I think they rather like it.

Even in a precarious minority situation, the Tories are about to see one of their old major campaign planks (getting rid of this boondoggle) finally come to fruition. See how their starting to pull out all of the stops now? They left-tards are running scared - and I rather like that. :D

It's just another LIEberal diversion meant to tone down the Coalition dialogue, imo.

Who will pay? The rural MP's that voted to get rid of it the first time and are unprincipled wimps this time.

Watch out Iggy, it's YOUR guys that will pay for this smack in the constituents face.

The second paragraph is a lie disguised as emotional manipulation. Well done, Liberals. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

He says he is consulted CAW, for one, to see where to go. Well come election time, he'll find out where he is off to in short order.

"another anonymous troll shrieks... we don't need a coalition to take down harpo."

that's right, nonny... you need balls.

that's why the conservatives have been in power for how many years now?

"Do the math", Nonny smirks.

48% support for the registry split between three parties that are obviously NDP, Liberal, and Bloc supporters; 35% against that are obviously Conservative supporters. This has been "the math" for the past FIVE years.

Your little pipe dream isn't going to happen, or else you guys would have grown a pair and defeated this government already instead of slinking away when it comes time to put your chips in.

"Looks like the S.S. Socialist Coalition just got holed below the waterline."

I think this happened, oh I donno, a long time ago.

Except the cons are still running around shell shocked from the dion/layton/deuceppe thing.

In fact, so shell shocked, that they can't seem to recall their own leader, signing a document with the ndp, and the GASP!!! Bloc.

Except, oh, that was -different-. Not sure how it would have been different, given that had the GG took Harper's offer, it would have robbed Canadians of the chance to go to the polls and elect the party of their choice still.

6 and a half dozen or the other, as they say. But oh boy does this glaring tidbit ever get conservatives mad eh?

Stinkin mad.

"that's why the conservatives have been in power for how many years now?"

Yet still, somehow, it's always the liberals fault.

Unfortunately mr. neo, Canadians HAVE NOT chosen a majority for Harper, and by the looks of things, likely never will.

That just has to be a real jab in the gut eh?

Oooooouch....

All that was discussed in that letter was for the GG to think about an alternative to the then current arrangement, hardly to contemplate governing by being propped up by seperatists.
Getting together with the other Opposition parties to defeat a tired and corrupt government is hardly a "coalition". Trying to govern with one is.

It isn't your anger that is "stinkin'"; it's your argument.

"another anonymous troll splutters... twice... the cons are still running around shell shocked... stinkin mad"

funny how that works, nonny.

now, tell me... is stephen harper really "shell-shocked"... or is he an evil, controlling fascist genius, who's taking us all straight to hell?

you guys just can't seem to make up your compassionate, intellectual minds.

maybe you should slink back to liblogs and let the chimp-o-sphere love you long time.

Then why do I always hear that it is Jack Layton's "fault" for voting with the Tories to kick the Liberals to the curb in 2005? See Nonny, the problem is that the Liberals have no more excuses for why they keep losing.

Unfortunately mr. neo, Canadians HAVE NOT chosen a majority for Harper, and by the looks of things, likely never will.

And they haven't even chosen a minority for the Liberals the last time, and by the look of things, likely won't next time either.

That just has to be a real jab in the gut eh? ;)

just a reminder folks... uber-troll "liberal supporter" has lost his commenting privileges here... for unacceptable behaviour.

i ask that you simply ignore his meagre daily provocations until i get around to scrubbing them away.

please note that anyone actually willing to have a conversation with libby, is free to do so over at his compassionate, intellectual webspace.

i suggest you bring a respirator & rubber boots.

no neo the last comment was me, not liberal supporter. You can put your gun down.

It didn't contain threats, or abuse, just an opinion.

Though sometimes that's enough to get deleted around here and get another round of the "leftie" slam or told to go to the liblogs.

You're a true conservative neo.
