Rev Billy-Bob & 50 wacky followers...

...scam international media for 50 million dollars worth of free publicity...

Pastor Terry Jones of Gainesville, Fla., called off plans to burn copies of the Quran on Saturday to mark the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, he said Thursday.
C'mon, guys... seriously.

Was I the only one who could hear the banjo music?

And all those rumours about a quid pro quo deal to relocate the Ground Zero Mosque?

That's bullshit too.

I heard the pastor's live news conference and he doesn't sound so crazy - naive, maybe, to believe the story about the mosque being relocated. Muslims are allowed to lie to fool non-Muslims. He will learn the hard way.

It doesn't matter if Rev Billy Bob is bats#it crazy our not. The sad part is the panic all the "world leaders" went into condemning him because of the threat muslims would be angry and cause trouble. I Rev Billy Bob does not burn their book will it stop these savage bastards from killing Christians and blowing up our stuff?
Not f@#$%ng likely. The muslims just won another round.

I find it humorous how atheists always act superior to others.

It is too bad he didn't say, if the mosque is not moved, and if there is one attack anywhere to protest the planned burning of the koran, we will burn them in retaliation.
Why doesn't the iman tell his followers, any protests etc will make non muslims mad. Don't do it.

Just checked the donation request, gee a couple of days ago they were asking for just 70,000, now it is up to 100,000, so they can take their fight to the media.
Hey, the media is supporting them for free so where is the 80,000 raised going to go. Could it be in someones pocket. Are they really going to go to court. Doubt it.
No petition to the crtc re ctv being sold, and the globe and mail and the torstar.
Will the new network still have tabor/ollie there. Clark left after 40 yrs. Lloyd is going. Would love to see tabor get a pink slip.
