Let me guess, brought to us by the lame stream media in conjunction with the magic fairy liberal party.
Until they change the social studies curriculum from Trudeau-pia to something based on real science and economics, people need a more than the few years they are getting in the real world before they can vote.
Already too many people believe in economic fairy tales. Heck our own premier won't allow more needed and privately funded nuclear power because it might break the arbritrary magic 50% number. Solar and wind power in Ontario - does he know which part of the country we're in?

Children voting is a ridiculous idea, kids will be kids well into their twenties these days. Leftists like the idea because kids can be brainwashed by their leftist teachers into believing all the soothing rhetoric that the left is so good at.
Voting elegibility should be tied to a person's tax return - when what they pay to the government becomes greater than the subsidies they recieve from the government - they can vote.
Not a dime of taxpayer's money should be spent on any 'get out the vote' campaign, why encourage people who are otherwise disinterested? their input is detrimental to the process.
I can see it all now. Justin Trudeau running on a campaign of lowering the legal drinking age to 14. All in favour say "Aye!".
It is as bad as Lizzie May bemoaning the fact that if she only had the public school vote, the greens would have won the election.

Until we can eradicate the left-lib socialist ignorant nonsense from the schools, that no one is responsible for their actions, it is for the best they have no other decision to make except what orifice to pierce next.
