Liberal MP Siobhan Coady called Baird's actions "ridiculous and patronizing" and challenged the minister directly.Yes, yes, Siobhan, we heard you... "big dick, not afraid to use it"... now let your little brother-in-arms have his turn...
"Are you trying to intimidate me, Mr. Baird?" Coady asked. "Because I'll put myself up against you any day on intimidation factors. Don't ever try to intimidate me, ever."
Coady said Baird's "schoolyard bullying tactics" won't deter her from getting answers. "I'm not giving up on this," SHE TOLD REPORTERS. "I don't get intimidated easily."
"My mom told me it was rude to show up to a party you're not invited to," Cullen told the ministers.Uh, Nathan... what did mummy say about being a whiney little bitch? Geeeezus... Baird makes little Nate look like the guy whose singular claim to fame was that he once painted Liberace's toenails.
And, puh-leeese... maybe somebody can send CBC a fresh picture of Mr Baird... it's like that one picture they have of 12 year-old Omar Khadr.
C'mon guys... at least Nathan & Siobhan are putting their broken little hearts into it. Let's see your A-game.

Exactly, VW. The person that is genuinely NOT intimidated doesn't have to remind us that they are not. Brazenly asserting that they are not only serves to demonstrate that they are.
Nothing Baird said in his statement was untrue. He has the right to be heard, not only as a Member of Parliament, but as the releveant Minister in this affair. Ultimatley, the buck stops with him. We hear that as much from Liberals over and over again in their zeal to add Ministers to their little trophy case. But now there is a perfectly accomadating Minister of this file willing, and continuously demanding to be quesioned because this committee is ignoring him, and they go after STAFFERS? How utterly CONVENIENT. They want answers but they refuse to take information from the Minister.Cowards, the lot of them.
It isn't this Minister that is trying to intimidate, it is this opposition committee, in their fetish-like partisan zeal in their pursuit of staffers when a Minister is available that are trying to intimidate.
Enough of this shit with the Opposition parties using the committees in this manner; bring on an election. Siobhan Coady's won her riding in the last election by a relative handful of votes. Her seat is ripe for the taking in the next election.
That is the new catch all phrase of the liberals against the much stronger Conservative party. It's a new fad."You're a bully!". Where do they get these pussified females to run for the liberal party?
"You're a racist, you're a sexist" line has been used to death, and you are looked at so passe and out of touch if you use it.
The new line, "you're a bully!" will be used repeatedly by the left as they fade into irrelevance.
I don't think the left get it yet. The majority Canadians want the conservatives to kick left ass to the curb.

As for the photo of Baird which is such an obvious subtle media bias, which they never saves for Shrieking Shield Copps who was a hero most of time in the press' eyes for pulling the same stunts.
I hope he becomes PM one day and his office uses that photo to represent him on the world's stage.

I like that picture of him. It is a don't fuck with me kind of picture. If I were in a war, I would want that man standing beside me.
That man is passionate, and there is not thing wrong with that.
