Dear Lloyd... Dear Peter...

Despite all that recent rainbow-coloured, candied unicorn malarkey by visiting celebrity rockstar/journalists... about a splendiferous, resurgent Africa... you might just wanna reserve a little of that rabid, foaming peace-activist rage for this little tourist paradise...

"Rights group Amnesty International says Chebeya had been summoned Tuesday evening to meet the head of the national police force in Kinshasa."

"It says he never returned home that night."
Just another little blood-soaked politically-incorrect narrative you're not gonna see on the evening news.

You mean a trillion dollars in "aid" over the last half century (most of which appears to have gone directly into Swiss bank accounts) hasn't raised Africans up yet?

Then again, its hard to ask Africans to get off the teat when so many Westerners can't shake the habit either.

BTW, remember Bono's "Red" campaign? Spent $100 million on marketing and generated sales of only $18 million...

Yep, somebody Africa should be listening to.

"jag says... Bono's 'Red' campaign"

i'll say it again... enough already with the aging rockstar bullshit.

i'm with chris rock...

"I hope that Live Earth ends global warming the same way Live Aid ended world poverty."

you really wanna do good, peace moonbeam... go build some schools in afghanistan.

oh, that's right... we're already doing that.

Sometimes I wonder if Chris Rock isn't a closet Republican...

No one follows him into a voting booth (not yet anyway until Obama changes things) but I'll bet that hand has put a few X's in the culturally wrong place.

what i like about rock is that he doesn't pander... he just gives you the unvarnished politically-incorrect smash in the face.

he's taken some lumps for it over the years... but most people recognise the truth when they see it.
