Toronto Police homicide Det. Stacy Gallant said next-of-kin are still being notified so he couldn't release names or their relationship.
Neighbours, however, have identified the man in custody as the victim's son.

well the big bad city of kingston is actually over an hour away by car... but i take your point.
this is unbelievable... one of the people in the crowd is quoted as saying... "well nobody actually said to kill him".

At least it gives the cops a bit of a hand, all that evidence in the public domain...no search warrant needed to go on to Facebook or Youtube.
