Everyone is beautiful...

...in their own way...

-- WINNIPEG -- The head of the Manitoba Schizophrenic Society says boosting security at the Selkirk Mental Health Centre based on the case of one high-profile patient would be a huge step backwards for the treatment of mental illness.

"It's archaic and it's medieval," Summerville said of fencing in the facility.
You mean like killing & beheading a sleeping man?

Remember when you were a kid... and you balanced your receivables by setting people on fire?
"A man was doused in gasoline and taken hostage after an argument over a business deal Friday morning near Toronto, police said."
Yeah... me neither.

Not only "killing and beheading", but eating bits of his victim too.

I don't know how you can be so prejudiced against a nut-case murdering cannibal. Have you no shame!!

It's the voices I tell you, it's the voices.

Summerville should have Mr. Li as a houseguest this summer.

It would be refreshing to have one of these doctors show concern for the victim's family instead.

Is there no line that can be crossed anymore in our society? I can't believe these bleeding hearts. At least Mr. Li is alive and being looked after. What the frick is wrong with Summerville - maybe she's in need of a little rest herself?

Is it my imagination or are female judges more likely to make stupid decisions on who can get bail or released from jail, or give very lenient sentences for the most vicious crimes.
Do they hate Canadians so much that they get their revenge by release these dangerous men out to do more harm.

"I think we're responding to Li as a criminal as opposed to a mental health patient. The Selkirk Mental Health Centre is not a prison. We have prisons for people who are criminally responsible."

And prison is where he should go as soon as he gets better!
