We, the Whitehouse...

Attorneys general from 13 states, including Florida, sued the federal government today, claiming the landmark health care overhaul is unconstitutional just seven minutes after President Barack Obama signed it into law.

The lawsuit was filed in Pensacola after the Democratic president signed the 10-year, $938 billion bill the House passed Sunday night.

"This is the first time in American history where American citizens will be forced to buy a particular good or service," said Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning.
Oh, oh... looks like it's time to distract the audience.

Hey... maybe Barry can close down Gitmo like he promised... that'll set a cat among the pigeons.

"Five years from now, just as in Canada and Europe two generations ago, we'll be getting used to announcements of defense cuts to prop up the unsustainable costs of big government at home. And, as the superpower retrenches, America's enemies will be quick to scent opportunity."
Hey, Iran... ya listenin'?

Isn't that headline supposed to read: 10 year plan SAVES Americans $938 billion?

After all isn't this plan supposed to save money? Yeah right...

When people find out they can just buy disaster insurance and pay the fine rather than buy the state mandated required plans lots of people are going to drop out. After all, the only reason any of us start paying at a young age is to prevent the insurance company from declining coverage due to past medical conditions.

Seconly it will be amusing to watch all the youths complain about the fine they suddenly have to pay because they don't buy insurance... maybe the Big Zero won't be so cool after all.

sure... isn't that the way most government programs work?

and this doesn't include all the pork president mcdreamy had to dole out to buy the votes to pass the legislation.

None of the media have been asking why this is costing almost a trillion dollars when it is supposed to save money (and as any government pork dole project works, it will cost triple the amount).

I remember when they said the gun registry was going to save money since crime was going to decrease or something stupid like that.

Anyway looks like I was near bang on in my estimate : The increase in cost of a full Public System is $1,143,799,388,000.00.

Only off by a couple hundred billion, but thats just chump change.

The media will jump all over the problems Anne Coulter is having in Canada, to change the headlines. Speech canceled in Ottawa for security concerns. 2000 protesters showed up to ring fire alarms and other mischief. Wonder how many of them were involved in the olympic protest or the prorogation ones. After all Kady told us that it was possible to organize a flash protest in minutes via facebook, iphones and twitter.
Hope she is enjoying her success at doing it.
