-- OTTAWA -- The Conservative government has re-introduced legislation that could make it tougher for people convicted of crimes abroad to be transferred home to Canada.

Announcing the changes Thursday, Public Safety Minister Vic Toews said the measures will enable the government to make decisions that "put safety first."

"That is what Canadians want, and that is what the government is delivering."
Bravo.
