Who actually falls for this stuff?

I mean... besides Dawg and Elizabeth May?

-- COPENHAGEN -- The first impression one receives of the summit is the sheer hypocrisy of it.

Here are green campaigners who damn the rest of us for the size of our “carbon footprints” and challenge us each to reduce our carbon output by one tonne per year.

Yet they themselves are flying in using a squadron of private jets, hiring a fleet of limousines and gorging themselves on expensive food flown in from around the world.

I'm guessin' Count Iggy's King Midas touch is gonna leave the left groaning.

Yeah, Mikey... you go girl... because you've got so much credibility left after all those other stupid "scandal of the day" stunts.

Kind of reminds you of the Church in medieval times, doesn't it. All the bishops and churchmen partying up at the cathedral while the serfs dig turnips with pointed sticks.

We'll probably have to register our pointed sticks if the leftards get their way.

Well, as Instapundit says, "I'll believe there is a crisis when the people who are telling me its a crisis act like its a crisis".

But you're right: that still wouldn't stop them. Sacrifices are for little people.

As for "cap and trade" and all that: its like a fat man paying a skinny man to go on a diet for him...

"bdft says... while the serfs dig turnips with pointed sticks"

except that, in this case... the serfs are celebrating that their wise, benevolent betters left them the turnips.
