Bright lights, big city...

-- TORONTO -- Two 16-year-old youths are in hospital with gunshot wounds after a hail of bullets were fired in an area outside a Scarborough housing complex that was crowded with people escaping the heat this evening.

One teen was shot in the face and another twice in the stomach but both were in non-life threatening condition.

Police have three other youths in custody, suspects in the shooting.

Earlier in the day, four other people were hurt in gunplay in separate incidents.

One man was shot in the face on Mount Olive Drive, near Finch Avenue and Martin Grove Road at around 9 p.m. The 26-year-old is recovering at Sunnybrook hospital.

Police also received a report of a teenaged girl being hit in the leg with a bullet after gunshots rang out on Tretheway Drive, near Eglinton Avenue and Black Creek Drive.

Toronto police say they have identified two suspects wanted in the murder of Sebastian Herrera, a young man who fell victim to a random robbery and attack in downtown Toronto late last month.

Police are looking for suspects Marvin Jerrett, 22, and Jeffrey Larsen, 28. Both are known to frequent the downtown Toronto area.

Both are wanted for first-degree murder and attempted murder.
