Legendary philandering, alcoholic...

...millionaire, who took over famous brother's Senate seat and ended up killing young female campaign worker... ah, screw it...

President Barack Obama, of whom he was an active supporter, said he was "heartbroken" to hear of his death.
Of course, there are always at least two sides to any story...
"I found it hard to believe the Senator had been in a major automobile accident. His face bore no traces of any marks. He never sat down or appeared in any kind of physical discomfort. If he had been injured, in shock, or confused, nothing of it lingered in our meeting, to my observation." -- Police Chief Dominick Arena

"Senator Kennedy killed that girl the same as if he put a gun to her head and pulled the trigger." -- George Killen, State Police Detective-Lieutenant

RELATED: Who is Teddy Kennedy?

Well, you could start with lying, hypocritical sack-o-shit...
When President Ford pardoned Richard Nixon, Kennedy excoriated this decision asking: “Do we operate under a system of equal justice under law?"

"Or is there one system for the average citizen and another for the high and mighty?”
And it doesn't stop there...
"For most of his life, until he married Victoria Reggie in 1992, Ted Kennedy's behavior oscillated between the constructive lawmaker and the destructive libertine, the devoted father and the shamelessly unfaithful husband," Klein writes.

"Naturally, no single psychological explanation could ever account for this ever-changing, kaleidoscopic behavior."

LAST WORD: Poor Teddy... they knew him well
Kennedy also abused his wife in many other ways, according to Chellis. She quotes Joan as saying, “I was nobody, nothing and not needed.”

One observer is quoted as saying that since Kennedy “was not a confronter of reality,” Joan, although she had the best medical help available, was left to deal with her alcoholism virtually on her own.

And the Senator, who some say seemed to invite press coverage of his wife’s drinking problem, once allegedly asked a friendly journalist at Hyannis Port if she would like to see Joan. He led the journalist out the back door and pointed to a car where his wife was passed out in the back seat.

A real profile in courage, right?

If he were going to the same spot in the afterlife as Mary Ann, Teddy could finally explain himself. But alas, no.

Rot in hell Teddy.

That would be Mary Jo.

The worst of it is the lefties will be tripping over one another to see who can gush the most over the passing of this disgusting sack of @#$%.

Watch now, here comes a post from "Canadian Cynic" and the inevitable follow up by Robbie's usual gaggle of sycophants about what a horrible, uncompassionate, lot of ASSHOLES we conservatives are because we care not one bit about some coward who got to go on with a lifestyle he never should have had after a trajedy HE caused. Count on it - like clockwork.

Rest easy Mary Jo. That scum is rotting in hell.

well... just like ol' teddy... the cynic fancies himself a real lady's man.

funny thing, though... bobby's been a lot quieter since he got outed.

funny how that works.

I would bet that the MSM and the lefties avoid the Mary Jo case at all costs.I have not heard her mentioned so far today.

"rob says... the lefties avoid the Mary Jo case at all costs"

mary jo is merely a rusty historical footnote... hastily brushed under the mythical kennedy/camelot carpet.

apparently... some animals are more equal than others.

And one of the interesting things that I noticed was the rank of the police officers that made these comments. We're not talking about junior grade patrol officers here, this is the Chief and a Detective Lt. and the comments are not at all wishey-washey.

As has been said, it's hard to hold Kennedy up as any kind of moral standard.

the whole incident was a whitewash from start to finish...

Later, on September 18, District Attorney Dinis attempted to secure an exhumation of Kopechne’s body in order to perform a belated autopsy, citing blood found on Kopechne’s skirt and in her mouth and nose “which may or may not be consistent with death by drowning”. The reported discovery of the blood was made when her clothes were turned over to authorities by the funeral director.

p.s. -- no autopsy, which would have revealed exact cause of death, any injuries to the body and any evidence of sexual activity etc., was ever performed.

simply unfathomable.

and yet, in the face of all this... president mcdreamy is "heartbroken".

somebody wanna explain that to me?

It sickens me to watch the left and red tories crying and bawling at MSM comments section like he was some kind of hero. He drove his car into a river, left a women to die and went home to sleep it off. He didn't report the so called accident until the next day, how do we know it was an accident when they didn't do an autopsy to confirm cause of death?

This man is no hero, he lolled around the Senate because he had no jobs skills. He was a filthy rich elite who used his money and influence to get him ahead in politics and the left call this piece of filth a hero it sickens me.

What about MaryJo and her family having to listen to the leftards eulogize him like he was a fucking saint. Sickening who the left choose as their heros.

"Bismark says... Zzzzzz. Loser."

yet again, the compassionate, intellectual left trots out the incisive, indefatiguable "you're a big poopyhead" gambit.

because, really... it's all they can do here. how can any reasonable person defend teddy's despicable conduct.

and if this guy is a "liberal lion"... he sure had his way with the "liberal sheeple".

they're welcome to him... and his legendary life of unconscionable excess.

"bluetech says... Check out SDA for the 'Chappaquiddick jokes' story"

oh. my. gawd...

"I was deeply moved to hear Newsweek’s Ed Klein tell guest host Katty Kay about Kennedy’s love of humor. How the late senator loved to hear and tell Chappaquiddick jokes, and was always eager to know if anyone had heard any new ones."

"Not that Kennedy lacked remorse, Klein quickly added, seeming to intuit that my jaw and perhaps those of other listeners had just hit the floorboards."
