Relax Dalton... it's only a bad thing...
...when CTV and Mickey Ignatieff say it is...
McGuinty's Liberal government is more than halfway through its second mandate -- with an election scheduled for October 2011 -- and it wouldn't be unusual for a premier to prorogue the legislature and return with a throne speech outlining a new government agenda.
However, the backlash faced by Harper has McGuinty taking his time to make a decision about proroguing, which he insisted is not always a bad thing for a government leader to do.

I would be shocked if Dalton prorogued given the fuss his kin have made over the matter. It would be hilarious if Dalton prorogued, but until he does, I can't say that I expect him to do so. Having said that, I have come to expect the unexpected and the unpopular from the Premier who chased me out of Ontario with his first budget.
When I first read his first budget, I said to myself "I've got to get out of this place if it is the last thing I ever do!" He delivered me right into the hands of Gordon Campbell, whom I refer to as the Sherriff of Nottingham.
I heard on the radio that the Ontario legislature will be out more days since December than the federal parliament will be out. Anybody have the figures?

how much shrieking, hysterical coverage has bob rae's three prorogations had?
