I've never understood the left's hatred of Cheney. He's no more warmongering than Kennedy or Clinton. He has no problems with homosexuality and has welcomed GOProud into the Republican mix.
Really him and Bush governed from the left if you consider all the money spent on social programs, african aid, health care etc. More than Clinton by far....
