WHITECAP DAKOTA FIRST NATION -- The interim board's first order of business would be to "place the current senior administration of (FNUniv) on administrative leave" pending the results of an audit into allegations raised in court documents by the university's former chief financial officer, Murray Westerlund, who is suing for wrongful dismissal. These guys were willing to take a chance on torpedoing their children's future?
The documents allege inappropriate spending and payment to various board and administrative officials.
How low can you go?

Neo, living in Saskatchewan, this story has been splashed over the news for the past week.
Not only did these guys allegedly inappropriately spend money on trips and the like, they were actually surprised and mad at the gov't for pulling their funding, and then expected the funding to be instantly reinstated after the Board and senior administration were turfed or put on admin leave.
I think Brad Wall put it best... "The government's position is this funding should be directed towards First Nations education with the greatest efficiency in that expenditure as possible. We we want to see as little as possible diverted to administration. Good or bad administration." and again when he said "Our preference will be to use these dollars for education for First Nations people. That was the point of the investment in the first place."
The government were being slaughtered by the Chiefs of the FSIN, but in the end, Mr Wall proved that he had more of the best interests of students at heart.
