I don't blame the media for being all over this story like dump in a toilet.
What is annoying is their ever present "speculation". In this case its the suggestion with absolutely no evidence that there is some sort of military cover up.
That's called "making the story", and is the lowest form of journalism.

Well, it was inevitable that some peacenik started on the "the Afgan mission is to blame". Despite all facts to the contrary (I don't think he's been there, he's a transport pilot...etc.).

let's take every man who has been deployed overseas... from the lowliest private to general walter natynczyk... put them on the witness stand and ask... "since returning to canada... exactly how many women have you raped and/or murdered?"

The whole idea behind returning soldiers from 'Nam and Iraq II turning into serial murderers/rapists/killers is based on poor evidence and speculation. When actually examined the rates are lower in that group than the rest of the population.
And yes, Neo, the real question is when are they going to take off the blinders and look at the hole TO is turning into.
