Compare and contrast this gem in the G&M (yes the two paragraphs were back to back in the article):
Mr. Harper's decision to prorogue was condemned by opposition parties as a ham-fisted attempt to avoid tough questions about the torture of Afghan detainees.
Mr. McGuinty's recent call for two March 4 by-elections in eastern Ontario had fuelled speculation that he would prorogue to buy time for his new ministers to get up to speed on their files after last month's cabinet shuffle.
Hmmm, funny, isn't that what Harper tried telling the media. And they say there is no media bias. Pshaw.
What bias?
I think it is most evident when Chretien prorogued to avoid questions regarding embezzelment. The media actually seemed proud of his weasel-y-ness.
something MUST be done regarding exceptional media bias - nothing can be written in today's media, without being totally politicized - small wonder the print media is in such difficulty - a good start would be to defund the CBC
The comment section in that G&M article could use a little 'help', as in...a tidal wave of replies.

An impossible request. The media will only give this story a sideways glance and the Liberals will twist, turn and rationalize absolutely every aspect. Just read the comments @ the G&M.
They are a joke. A true statement on their character and lack of reasoned thinking.
