A shooting incident outside a hotel in Toronto's posh Yorkville district has left one man dead and sent another to hospital with life-threatening injuries.**********
Toronto police Staff Sgt. David Vickers told ctvtoronto.ca that the incident happened at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday, in a laneway behind the Howard Johnson Hotel Yorkville, north of Bloor Street West on Avenue Road.
Vickers said a 25-year-old man succumbed to his injuries after being shot. The victim's name has not been released.

The man, who has been identified by police, as 25-year-old Wesler Fabien from Ottawa, was visiting Toronto for Caribana.
He became Toronto's 32nd homicide of the year after he was shot and killed early Saturday morning after a night of partying in the Entertainment District. Fabien was known to police.
According to police, the suspect may have been waiting for the two men.
