FLIP... wait, I mean FLOP

Following in Hillary Clinton's illustrious footsteps...

“President Assad has been very generous with me in terms of the discussions we have had,” Mr. Kerry, as a senator from Massachusetts, told an audience at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in March 2011. He predicted that Mr. Assad would change for the better.
That was then.

This is now...
Today, Mr. Kerry is a leading advocate for attacking Mr. Assad’s regime. On Friday, he called the man he once befriended a thug and murderer.”
That's how the hopey-changey lunatic left does it.

So what has changed - 100,000 Syrians are dead - why does sarin gas change anything? Dead is dead. There is no reason for Canada to go to Syria and support Obama's red line. There is no plan for victory and there is no plan for exit. Fighting to a draw is asinine. You go to war to win not punish with a "precision" hit a thug and dictator. If that were the case, we should have bombed Stalin and Mao when they were deliberately depopulating their fellow citizens by way of starvation. Death fast or slow is still heinous.

The four-year-old conflict in Sudan's Darfur region, west of the capital, has triggered the deaths of more than 200,000 people and driven 2.2 million from their homes, according to the United Nations.
