As Canadian as Gosht Bhuna

It's not what's on your documents... it's what's in your heart...

Bangladeshi authorities say a Canadian man suspected of organizing a deadly attack on a popular restaurant in Dhaka has been killed in a police raid near the capital. The country's top counter-terrorism official says officers killed three suspected militants early Saturday, including Bangladeshi-born Canadian Tamim Chowdhury.
In other paper-Cnadian news...
The family of Tahmid Hasib Khan, a University of Toronto student who was detained in Bangladesh after surviving the restaurant attack, says he has been transferred to prison.

“I’m not an idiot like the Toronto 18 guys.”
Remember... Justin Trudeau repealed Conservative security measures... and that will most certainly come back to haunt us all.

UPDATE: More angry people looking for...

...Allan's snackbar...
A couple at a German music festival in Oberhausen have been attacked by a knifeman who witnesses claim was heard shouting "Allahu Akbar". A 66-year-old woman, believed to be the other victim's wife, is said to be fighting for her life.
That's some "Religion of Peace."

old white guy says............Canada has far too many Canadians of convenience. trudeau and the liberals plan on giving the country millions more. the passport has become as valuable as the order of Canada, just about anyone can get one. I wish the media would stop calling these killers Canadians.

being canadian has nothing to do with your epidermis, or your accent, or your place of birth. it's a state of mind, a fundamental belief in fair play.

if you believe women are lesser beings than men... if you settle arguments, not with your intellect, but with knives or guns, you are decidedly not canadian.

I'm a 5th gen Canadian and in our family/community being Canadian is about constantly balancing that sense of "fair play" struggling against government over reach and bullying intervention in your private business - been like that since before 1867 when farmers moved their livestock between neighbors so when tax assessors/auditors saw nothing taxable and they could feed themselves before the King.

Our character was forged by obtrusive authority - we found a way to survive (keep our privacy and retirement loot) out of sight of big brother - the grey market here existed long before confederation and has congealed itself as a tuely Canadian tradition - an off shoot of our quiet defiance of control freaks - when met with bad overly restrictive damaging laws (which have been labeled "Peace Order and Good Government") we just do what we have to do to get by - obey the laws that make sence and work around those that don't - BUT NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT TOO MUCH GOVERNMENT - WE LIKE TO PUT THE GOONS TO SLEEP SO WE CAN KEEP ON KEEPING ON.

nOW THAT'S cANADIAN

seems to me, bill, that canadians are these days noted mostly for their apathy and unwillingness to stand up for any sort of principle.

how times change.

well, bill... the election of pierre-lite would seem seem to suggest otherwise.

by the time the next election rolls around, canada will be swimming in librano debt.

my grandchildren will be paying for this decades down the road.

The Metrosexual messiah didn't pull a seat in my province and only got 7 seats west of the Ontario border, all in a major metro ridings - Only people who have an air conditioned office voted for this lightweight doofus - it was a lifestyle election that was won by metrosexuals - As I said Canadians didn't vote for him - Canada lies outside the walled metroplex
