The "Toronto 18" trio being held in solitary confinement have turned down offers to leave their cells for time in the Don Jail exercise yard.That's certainly not the way the fuzzy-bunny left is spinning it...
The Toronto Sun has learned the three inmates were each offered yard time more than 100 times this year. They have only accepted offers to go outside a handful of times, a source familiar with the case, who spoke to the Sun on condition of anonymity, said.
Civil liberties groups claimed the men, who can't be identified because of a publication ban, have developed health problems from lack of sunlight.Hey, Chantal... maybe they should just apply for a transfer to Guantanamo... plenty of sunshine there.
Speakers from the Presumption of Innocence Project claimed the men were given such little time outside they had developed a vitamin D deficiency and their skin was flaking due to lack of sunlight.
Project spokesman Chantal Sundaram said yesterday that relatives maintain the men have not been given a chance to go outside since April.
When asked if the inmates have denied yard time, Sundaram was adamant they have not refused to leave their cells. "That's not happened," she said. "They haven't had the opportunity to deny it."

I don't buy the lack of sunlight story, but we should certainly treat suspects humanely. Suspects. You know, those people who have not been found guilty of a crime yet?

I just love pushing the buttons here and watching you copy and paste one of your prepackaged rants. Seeing you smirk and sneer is a hoot. Then watching the howls of righteous indignation.
Of course there are the deletions when you are losing the argument, only to be followed by selective quoting. I suppose it provides more entertainment for your circle of readers. Deleting comments, but leaving others must provide the same kind of entertainment as you would provide by placing fish in a barrel. So they can enjoy shooting at things and be able to actually make a kill.
I am happy to provide such material, since your standard themes on the blog itself are getting pretty tired. It gives your readers something to pick at, arguments stripped of most of my words. That must make your commenters feel so good, it lets them win for a change, because they probably get laughed out of any other conversation where you are not there to save their fragile ego when their arguments are demolished.
Naturally there is a purpose to all this. The various comments are intended to elicit responses which are then analyzed. The deletion responses are of course the most telling. These are when I touch issues you are not yet ready to face. Other times the direction of the goal post moving is what is key to understanding your thinking.
This is fairly standard procedure, though I am pursuing an innovation in doing it here on your blog. But the goal is the same. It is how we in the mental health professions find and identify a patient's neuroses and delusions in order to effect a diagnosis.
This one is a keeper neo, a mental health "professional" no less...throw a wrench into the "mental health professional's" dissertation but one of reasons I troll thru here is to observe the neurosis and delusions that folk such as this "one" leave behind...no analyzation required, it's all self-explanatory...keep going "mental health professional", you're a work in progress.
