Another quaint third world custom... rears its ugly head here in Canada.
-- RICHMOND, B.C. -- The Canada Border Services Agency has stayed the deportation of a paralyzed Indian man after a standoff at Vancouver International Airport.
“For safety and security reasons, Mr. Singh's deportation has been delayed,” Derek Mellon, a spokesman for the agency, said Monday.
Mr. Singh came to Canada on a forged passport in 2003 but suffered a massive stroke three years later that left him a quadriplegic.

The RCMP can assassinate Ian Bush and deny it repeatedly, and taser multiple people to death, but they can't clear a path for the Border Services Agency to do its job?
The right to demonstrate does not include the right to be free of the police clearing the way. Frankly, if the mob wants to turn ugly at that point, the fact that this is simply mob rule would be clear to all concerned.
Did we use all the pepper spray back in 1997? Surely we would have restocked by now! Clear the way! - get Laibar Singh on an airplane headed to India ASAP.

Nothing like crowds of potentially illegal immigrants telling the govt there will be hell to pay at the ballot box, if we deport a suspected terrorist leeching off of our good will..welcome to wonderful multiculteral Canada!
The international departures terminal was inaccessable and traffic was backed up for hours at YVR.
This was an illegal protest by militant Sikh extremists, open borders wack job groups like "no-one is illegal" and your usual gang of professional protesters.
In any reasonably sane country based on a rule of law the police would give the mob 5 minutes to disperse peacefully or be read the riot act and dealt with accordingly.
The politicians and even the police have been so cowed by the evil forces of political correctness that no-one can enforce the laws equally lest they be labeled a racist hate monger and be jumped all over by the liberal msm and the professional whiners for the numerous multi-culti groups.
The various governments had better start growing spines, and soon, or average people are going to throw up their hands in frustration and say enough is enough and start taking matters into their own hands.
Well, I say, get out the foam trucks and spray them down with cold foam, that should cool their jets.
If you don't tell anyone when the guy is going to be deported, no protest. Simple.
Looks like not only a 16 year old girl being strangled, but Border Security as well.
Message to the rest of the world:
You can get into Canada illegally and STAY. Just don't try to come in legally 'cuz we say 'no' to that!!
