What... no drag queens?

No wonder people were upset...

King City Public School pulled the plug on “Opposite Gender Day”, where kids as young as six would be allowed to come to school dressed as the opposite sex, following an outcry from parents.

Today's narrative... the Conservatives run personal attack ads... the Liberals responses are about "values."

They don't even pretend to be objective any more.

Personally I have no problem with letting kids 'cross dress' IF THEY WANT TO. As long as it's voluntary. Forcing them to participate would be wrong. As for all the people who are opposed to this idea, would be nice if they bothered to educate themselves on the difference between sexuality and gender, but I won't hold my breath waiting for them to clue in. But I would like to point out that females of all ages already 'cross dress' all the time without censure these days. Jeans and T-shirt and running shoes? That's "male" clothing for sure... so why not let males wear skirts and dresses? Oh no, that's "gay"!!! Duh!

hey, grumpy... you may be on to something here.

isn't february "black history month"? how about we take a page from singer al jolson and have a "blackface minstrel day"?

or maybe get kids to put together costumes for "chinese railroad worker" week?

it's just clothes, right?
