Kids in the Crosshairs

More fun & games in Dalton McGuinty's failed socialist paradise...

The single mother of nine kids, who didn't want her name or her son's name used, said seven of her children were home when the gunfire erupted and there were also several cousins inside the Spadina Ave. and College St. house.

The boy's mother claims his son is "a good boy," who loves to play basketball and has "never been in trouble with the police."
No word yet from Mayor Miller's office on which gun club the shooter belonged to.

Wow. I used to live there. And when I say "there," I mean right there. Near Cecil Street. Which isn't very long (as streets go).

This is fuc*ing pathetic, Doltoid, Miller & Blair will wring their hands about duck guns and the gawd-damm city they live in is worse that Iraq.

What do you wanna bet this will result in more basketball courts and another trip to the Un to demand Canadians get rid of their plinking rifle.

What a nest of maggots those trawna pols.

There, I feel better.

hmmm, i'm thinkin'... the bangers are climbin' up to bedroom windows to kill 14 year-old kids... might be the old neighbourhood has lost a little bit of its shine.

Not sure how much climbing there was. The bedroom was apparently on the ground floor. As for the neighbourhood... I don't ever remember it shining. But it always seemed fairly quiet, safe, etc. I wouldn't go so far as to say "free of sketchy characters"... after all, I lived there... And to be honest, I often think of moving back.

I keep wondering why the Chief Firearms Officer (CFO) of Ontario keeps issuing Authorization to Transport Permits for handguns to these gangbangers so they can go kill kids?

I mean after the second application by a gangbanger asking for permission from the CFO to go shoot up a school you'd think they'd catch on...

Meanwhile law abiding guys like myself have to wait three weeks for our permit to take the firearm to the gunsmith to get it fixed.

Um... No. And I'm not sure how you can interpret that as my "take away". I was just noticing an inconsistency between your comment and the article itself...

Have you ever been to the area (Cecil Street)?
