That Sarkozy sure has a pair

First, he tells China to piss up a rope and meets with the Dalai-Lama... and now this...

Nicolas Sarkozy said earlier this week that he would not be able to shake hands with someone who said Israel had to be wiped off the map. "How is it that a people such as the Iranian people have the misfortune of being represented as they are today by some of their leaders?"

Ambassador Bernard Poletti was told of Iran's strong objections.

He was told there would be repercussions for relations if such remarks were repeated.
It's past time to deal with Iran.

Time for everybody to pick a side... before the ordnance starts flying.

Problem is that when it comes to shove, Sarkozy will be left standing alone on the field while the rest of his country flees.

Seriously, at the end of the day, Israel will be left alone to deal with the crazy goons at the top of Iran. Which means this has the potential to turn that area and a lot of innocent people into carbon and glass. Then all the talking heads will talk about what went wrong. As usual they are always 2 steps behind.

langmann... i'm not sure i agree with you here.

when israel eventually hits iran... and trust me, it's inevitable... the islamic countries in the middle-east will go ape and lash out indiscriminately... incurring the emnity of every right-thinking infidel on the planet.

now, maybe the pinko french, as a nation, will down tools and run yet again... but the united states has, without a shadow of a doubt doubt, a pre-positioned strike package dedicated to this eventuality.

iran gets the bomb... we would all be living in its shadow.

it all comes down to...

"what's flat, black and glows in the dark?"

trust me on this one, mahmoud... you just don't wanna know.

@ Neo: I think we're saying the same thing. However with the US the way it is right now I don't know how they would react to an Israeli strike followed by a rampage from the other middle eastern nations.

Sorry, got cut off:

What I do know is after Iran is a flat black wasteland and lots of innocent people have died due to the leadership stupidity virus, all the talking heads will be trying to figure out what went wrong with the peaceful non-confrontational process and corrupt UN that was supposed to control these sorts of things.

They aren't asking the right questions right now when they should be.
